Episode 76 - No Fallout Here

Ashen Phoenix and Jaz had an IC and OOC disagreement/misunderstanding.  It happens, a lot, even between 14 year old friends.  We're going to go through it piece by piece in an open way, feelings and all, and how it was resolved.   Issues like this happen all the time in RP, and while we shouldn't get upset, we're only human and emotional beings.  Even between friends it happens, so lets go down that rabbit hole.

Also, a new segment, Whose RP Is It Anyway... We'll give it a try!

Lastly, we still have a lot of audio warble from Discord and we apologize for it.  It's extremely frustrating for us as well as we want to put out the best quality product we can for you.  Good news is, we think we have found a solution to it for the future shows.  So bare with us this one last time and we'll be back on track!

Brought to us by listener and friend of the show, Erikas, when and why would you or someone you know kill their character off in roleplay?   Player killing doesn't happen all that often for a variety of reasons, time spent leveling, stories, friends, so when it comes up it can have a large impact on those around... unless they do it wrong, or often, of wrongly often.   We'll talk about this as well as Ashen Phoenix "amazing" "singing" "talent" (America's Got Talent here I come!)  All that and more in this episode of RPMMOradio!

So what's the benefit to keeping and writing an in character journal and stories? Some seem to do it, others not so much. Is it worth the time and effort? Does it help improve your writing skills? How do you get people to visit guild or community forums and get into writing? Why is it the use of these things seems to have decreased? We'll answer most of this and many things unrelated in this episode!

Being charming and charismatic as a character (Or person, who doesn't need a bit more charm in their lives?)  What makes someone charming, turns out, people have looked into it, and we'll look at those people and see what they found.

Also, show note, we're changing the show format a bit in the way it runs.   Thank you to everyone out there and if you like what you hear and want to support the show, look us up at Patreon.com/RPMMOradio

Last part on our magical tour of magic!  Neutral and Light side magic!  How they work, how they get used, how the magic should perhaps influence they type of character that would utilize it.   A brand new Christmas album that will be sure to sweep the world and some uplifting thoughts on our last episode of the year!

You heard that.  We'll be taking the rest of the year off for family and to enjoy the season and be back on January 5th live at Twitch.tv/RPMMOradio with the podcast to follow the day after.

Have a happy Ramahanaquanzmas!

Magic, a staple of most MMO and RP.  How's it work and what are the basics are just some of the things we begin to go over in our three part magical trilogy.   Let's touch on the basic of how magic works and the various categories magical use is broken down.  We lay the ground work for the next two episodes starting here!

Finally!  That topic an unnerving number of people have asked for, ERP!  No one roleplays in an MMO with out hearing, knowing, or doing ERP.  The stereotypes, the good, the bad, and the squishy.   The RPr crew will covers nearly every aspect and angle of ERP including the differences between it and MRP.  The confusion between them, the risks, the rewards, and everything in between.   Also, plenty of innuendo's.  Plus, plenty of callers from listeners like you!

Your name says a lot about you.  Firstly, what to call you outside of the usual four letter words that come to mine, but after that, it's the first thing other RPers judge you on.  Naming yourself after modern pop culture items Vs being original and not a brainless automaton.   The RPr crew covers these issues and more. Plus, the voting results for MMO Multiverse President!
